Maths in class 11th is quite different from what we've been learning till class 10th. You will be introduced to new symbols, new concepts, and new theories.  It requires more diligence and hard work. You need to be very sincere and give significant time to maths regularly. Make sure to clear any doubt that you may encounter right away. You should also ensure that you have a good mentor to guide you. You can take help from your school or tuition teachers as well as your friends, according to your comfort and understanding. You need to practice maths as much as possible to score a perfect number. A few things that you should keep in mind while preparing a schedule for class 11 maths are:

  1. Study for realistic durations - Many a time, our enthusiasm leads us to plan and allot a longer duration of time to studying or practising maths than is justified. This way, you will get exhausted, cover just the first or second shift of studying and then give up. To avoid this, use a calendar and the syllabus and build a timetable. Write down the topics and concepts that you will cover each day. The timetable should be flexible and realistic. You will have to make this schedule to avoid the burden of the subject at the end of the term. Maths can be covered only through regular practice. If maths is left to be studied at the last moment, it will just result in ineffective cramming of the subject that is not meant to be crammed and studied theoretically.  Rather, study for 50 minutes and take a break for 10 minutes. You can use this division of time several times a day. You can also opt to study for 25 minutes and take a break for 5 minutes.
  2. Recognize your peak hour - You may be an early bird or a night owl. You will have to figure out what time suits you best for your studies. If you find yourself more fresh and attentive in the morning, try waking up early but do not cut down your sleep. Go to bed early to wake up at a reasonable hour. If you find yourself studying more diligently during the night, manage your time accordingly, not overlooking the fact that you need to wake up at a reasonable hour to attend school. Manage your time without considerably disturbing your sleep hours drastically.
  3. Give maths a priority - To prioritize maths, you will have to make sure that you finish your school homework, first thing after getting back home. To make this exercise more fun, you can group up with your friends and complete the exercise together. This way, it will be less of a burden and more of a fun activity. Make sure you don't tire yourself if you've allotted a late hour for maths practice. Keep your routine towards a lighter side. Do not skip maths tuitions and maths classes. If possible, allow yourself extra time to revise and cover more concepts and questions. Before leaving for school, practice a few questions regarding the concepts you have previously covered.
  4. Keep yourself flexible - There may be times when you do not feel like studying. During this time, allow yourself the leisure to choose between revising concepts, revising formulas, practising easier questions and familiar questions, and watching an online class. Allow yourself this flexibility to avoid diversion from the subject. Do not do anything forcefully. If you plan to study without the will to do so, that will be as good as not studying at all. If you do not feel like studying at all, rest for some time and study later. This flexibility will help you like maths.
  5. Maintain a formula notebook - While you study, maintain a separate notebook to write down formulas for all the chapters and concepts. This will provide you with an easy approach if you need to recheck a formula while solving a question and also help with a quick revision. These notes will prove to be a great help in the long run.
  6. Stick to your schedule - Making a schedule is relatively easier than following it. Be sincere towards the schedule that you have framed. Being flexible and taking breaks will help you follow your timetable and push you to achieve more.
  7. Set deadlines and incentives - A better schedule can be made with the help of implementing deadlines. Before you sit for your study time, give yourself a deadline to complete a particular amount of syllabus and if you're able to do so, allow yourself a reward such as spending some time on a hobby, taking a longer break, or eating yummy snacks.
  8. Practice questions - One can be proficient in Maths only by practising as many questions as possible. You can use several books other than your coursebooks. You can use online resources that can be downloaded such as NCERT maths book class 11 solutions pdf. These will provide you with a wide range of questions as well as solutions. The more you practice maths, the better you will become. Hence, solve maths questions regularly.
